“Breaking Through” is released on all major platforms

Our “Indie Rap” collaboration with JoeliD is now available to stream or purchase on all major platforms including YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, BandCamp and Amazon.

Written and recorded at a distance of 5,000 miles apart, “Breaking Through” is a first time collaboration between Irish indie artist A Band Called Paul and Arizona-based rapper JoeliD (https://twitter.com/joelid16).

With the clear and focused aim of weaving together our two distinct musical genres to create a new sound, the track infuses A Band Called Paul’s indie edge through its hip hop foundation, driving the predominantly guitar and drum led verses with intricate and percussive rapping from JoeliD.

The theme of the track is that of learning from one’s failures and negative experiences, being reborn in the process and rising from it like the proverbial phoenix from the flame.
